Riding for Honor, Glory, and Victory, Fundraising for Parkinson's
On February 25 I will again be joining cyclists from around the world for a 7-day virtual bike ride. We will be riding beyond the borders of Sufferlandria and into the world of Wahoo X in The Wahooligan Tour to support the Davis Phinney Foundation. The Foundation's focus is on improving the quality of life for people living with Parkinson's, helping them live better now, today.
Each year the Davis Phinney Foundation provides free information, tools, and resources for tens of thousands of people with Parkinson's and their care givers. I have experienced the difference that the Davis Phinney Foundation can make, as has my care partner.
This will be my 6th virtual tour. It is a challenge, mentally, physically, and fiscally. Last year, with the generous support of family and friends, I was able to raise over $22,000 for the Davis Phinney Foundation. I hope that this year can be as successful. Together, let's help make a difference. The Foundation's slogan is "Every Victory Counts." So too, every donation counts. Please share this message to help spread the word.
Donations can be made via Facebook or by visiting my fundraising page, if you prefer (link below), to help reach this goal. Thank you for your support.
Pete
