Support Cancer Research

When you join the Winship 5K, you'll support cancer research and advances in treatments that are helping patients live longer, healthier lives.

General Information

The Winship 5K run/walk is a family-friendly virtual and in-person event held on the Emory University campus that benefits cancer research at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University. In 2022, the twelfth annual event raised more than $1,000,000. To date, the event has raised over $8.4 million in support of cancer research at Winship Cancer Institute.

Join us on October 7, 2023 for the Winship 5K run/walk! You can create a team or join the Winship 5K as an individual. We invite you to set a $250 minimum fundraising goal and encourage your friends, family and co-workers to join you in making a difference against cancer.
