What is Personal Fundraising?
Personal fundraising is an opportunity to take a more active role in your support and fundraising for Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University by creating your own web page and raising funds.
What type of Personal Fundraising campaign should I create?
Want to honor or memorialize a friend or family member? Start an Honor/Memorial fundraising event. Is there special caregiver or health care provider you want to recognize? Create a Thanks & Recognition inspired event. Celebrate your birthday this year by creating a personal fundraising page or join friends for a bike race and start a page in the Individual & Team Feats. You can also create your own personalized event in your DIY Get Creative registration section.
I’ve never made a webpage before. Is it difficult?
Creating your Personal Fundraising Page is fast, easy, and fun. We’ve done all the design. You write what you want to say, add the photos you want, and we’ll take it from there. Choose one of our event suggestions on the greeting page (Honor & Memory, Birthdays, Thanks & Recognition, Individual & Team Feats, DIY Get Creative) and follow the step-by-step registration process. You can start a team, join an existing team or start an individual fundraiser.
