Brighten the Day
Brighten the Day is a 24-hour charity event on Twitch with lets plays of kid-centric spoopy video games and more in support of The Emory John’s Creek NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit). This event is hosted on the birthday of Ian and Ellie’s son, Cillian Vincent, who was born at 27 weeks due to a sudden and severe onset of Pre-Eclampsia and HELLP syndrome.
NICUs in non-Children’s Hospitals are severely underfunded and underappreciated, so we are streaming to raise funds for Emory John’s Creek, where Cillian was born, and raise awareness for the needs of NICUs.
Recent studies have shown that pregnancy complications have skyrocketed during the pandemic, with little to no understanding as to why. This means an increase in babies heading to the NICU for a very long and difficult fight, for which some never make it home.
As November is also Prematurity Awareness Month, a condition that affects many kids, helping NICUs helps all manner of premature babies. In helping this hospital, we help the amazing nurses and doctors take care of these tiny warriors.
Join us on November 8th from 8 am till 8 am the next day as we play Little Nightmares, Among the Sleep, Unravel, and other games, while chatting with friends and family and raising funds for this critically important cause.
Our Goal
We aim to raise $10,000 for new equipment for the Emory John’s Creek NICU and raise awareness of the work they do.

$20 - Healing time! FIST is a game where characters can die suddenly and without warning. You can change that! Provide a player of your choice with 1d6 healing, and possibly save their adventure!
$50 - Grant a player of your choice a new trait! Traits are the strange powers and incredible skills that every agent has. You want one of them to become even more powerful? This is the way to do that, and it will change the way they play INSTANTLY!
$100 - Shunt the entire party into another dimension that Ethan will make up on the spot. Could be an alternate reality version of Earth where meteors landed and the post-apocalyptic state of the world makes every choice you make life and death! Could be a room with a moose!
