An event dedicated to celebrating local veterans, recognizing the sacrifices they have made, and discussing the ways in which the community can better support veterans’ transitions into civilian life.

• Featuring Keynote Speaker Colonel Danny R. McKnight, U.S. Army, Retired, the inspiration for the book and movie Black Hawk Down.
• Guests will be able to view seven of fifteen large-scale black and white portraits of wounded veterans, part of The Unknown Soldier photography exhibit on loan from the Library of Congress.

All proceeds from special events benefit Easterseals and its programs which empower people with disabilities, people facing disadvantages, and veterans in our community.

Your attendance at Our Serve benefits the more than 1,800 local veterans supported by Easterseals through emergency services, employment assistance, and education achievement. Veterans successfully transition to civilian life thanks to guidance in translating a military resume for employers, interview preparation, and networking opportunities, education resources up to Master's Degrees, and other vital supports.
