On Sunday July 21, TEAM ELEANOR members will ride with local FA families, friends and cycling enthusiasts to redefine what is possible in FA research! Eleanor will be riding in the 12 mile event.

Eleanor is 10 years old and was confirmed to have FA in August 2016 after her school teachers and parents were concerned about her falling all the time. She has been working hard with various physical therapies to stay strong and stable until it can be stopped, reversed, treated and cured. With your help, this will happen sooner rather than later. In addition to riding her awesome Catrike Pocket (Thank you CAF!) she takes therapeutic horse riding lessons and love's to swim. She also loves to write stories, ride rollercoasters, play Minecraft, and participate in the local 4H robotics club.

rideATAXIA was founded by Kyle Bryant, a young man with FA.  Kyle redefined what was possible in his life when he took up recumbent cycling.  He says after training for and completing his first century ride, "I can't even walk down the street, but I rode 100 miles in a day.  After that the sky was the limit."  Since 2007, rideATAXIA has raised over $7 million to fund FA research progress.

Join us in supporting the urgent pace of that research.  Donate.  Together we will cure FA!
