Welcome to the Personal Fundraising Campaign Creation pages!

You will be led through a series of pages to create your personal fundraising campaign. Once you complete these steps, your personal page will be available immediately on the Food Bank website.

As the “Champion” of this campaign, you will have the option to make changes and updates through a Champion Center Dashboard. You can continue to customize your page with more photos, manage gifts that come from your participants and send emails about your campaign to family and friends.

The Campaign Type determines the information you must supply for this campaign. For an Honorary campaign, you will be asked for the name and contact information of the Honoree, or person you are honoring. For a Memorial campaign, you will be asked for the name of the Honoree plus the name and contact information of a Next of Kin representative of the Honoree. For a Celebration (Personal) Campaign, you will not be asked for Honoree or Next of Kin information.

The following image shows how the content elements are arranged on your default fund page. As you work with the sections below, the corresponding section in the image will highlight to indicate where that information will be located on the default fund page layout.

The Campaign Name will be the title of your Campaign Page. Using a descriptive label (such as the name of your Honoree or Event) will help people find your campaign when they search for it. Note: you can edit this name later from the Champion Center.

Adding a compelling story will help inspire people to donate to your cause. Tell your audience why you are creating your campaign and why people should support you. The story you enter here will be visible to others as soon as you finish creating your campaign. You can make changes, update, or add more to this story later in the Champion Center.

 

 

 

Upload a picture or image to add a personal touch to your page. You can change the image later in the Champion Center. To show more pictures, you can create and link to Photo Albums from the Champion Center.

 

Upload an Image for Your Campaign Page:

1. Prepare your image.
Images must be .gif, .jpg, or .png files. Files with a .jpg or .png type will be automatically resized to fit in a 225 x 300 pixel space. The maximum acceptable file size is 1.5 Mb.

2. Select the file.
Enter the name of the file on your computer or use the Browse button to select the file.

3. Click the upload image button.


 

 

Entering a fundraising goal encourages people to give generously to your cause, but is not required and will not appear if you do not wish to use it.

 

 

Enter a short statement to display with the Campaign Name in search results and to distinguish this campaign from others with similar names. If your campaign is an Honor or Memorial campaign, consider entering Honoree information (for example, place of residence and other names) in this field. You can edit this later in the Champion Center.

 

 

 

Clicking the following checkbox hides this campaign in search results. Only those people to whom you send a link will be able to view your private campaign.
