Event and Registration Info


All riders must register for $25 and must fundraise at least $100 to participate. To receive a Cycle for Sight Jersey, a participant must fundraise a minimum of $250.

Children 12 years old and under can register for $10 with a minimum fundraising goal of $25. Children cycling 25km, 50km or 75km must be accompanied by an adult.

And free registration for Bicycle Newfoundland Labrador members! (Find the code on BNL’s website and Facebook page. Proof of membership is required.)

Registration includes:

  • Choice of distances: 3 km, 25 km, 50 km and 75 km and new 27 km off-road
  • For children and accompanying parent/guardian; 3 to 12 km
  • Personal webpage for easy online fundraising
  • Rider gift bag
  • Well-marked route with directional signage
  • Bike mechanics and EMS
  • Rest stops en route with unlimited snack and beverages
  • A fun and family-friendly Finish Line celebration party with complimentary food and drinks
  • Fundraising prizes and awards

*Must reach fundraising minimum to receive jersey. Sizes not guaranteed.

Become a Corporate Fundraising Supporter!

Rally your business or cycling club together and hit the road to help us raise money to restore hope and sight!

Each business or cycling club that registers a team and sets a minimum fundraising goal of $1,000 will be recognized as a Cycle for Sight Fundraising Supporter:

  • Your logo included on our website, Facebook and weekly enews
  • Your team's story / organizational message on how you are helping the Fighting Blindness Canada's mission to cure blindness shared on Facebook posts and enews
  • Event day messaging and logo inclusion
  • And we'll thank you in our post event report that will be emailed to all participants

How to register your team:

  1. Register your team by clicking here.
  2. Set your fundraising goal to minimum $1,000 (for up to 4 team members. Increase goal by $200 for each additional team member).
  3. Email Jen at to confirm participation as a corporate or community fundraising supporter.

Cycle for Sight volunteers make the event enjoyable for everyone. Whether you are helping to set up route markers or cheering on cyclists as they embark on their journey, we want you to be part of the event!
