Arizona - Help Farm Animals

The factory farming industry is trying to ram a bill through the Arizona legislature that will harm farm animals by taking away some of the meager protections currently afforded to them.

Specifically, the bill will remove chickens, pigs, and cattle from the state’s principal cruelty code, and it will prohibit any cities in Arizona from providing strong protections.

Please call your state senators' offices today. Look up your senators’ phone numbers.

You can simply say, “Hello, my name is XXXXXX, and I live in your district. I oppose HB 2150, because I think that we should be making farm animal protection stronger, not weaker, and I hope Senator XXXX will work against the bill. I want to know how Senator XXXXX is going to vote on this bill.”

Be sure to leave your name and phone number. If the receptionist can’t tell you how your senator is going to vote, please ask for a call back.

After you call, please submit this form to automatically send a follow-up message. Feel free to customize this letter in your own words, and be sure to ask for a reply.

And, please forward this message to all your friends and family, and post it on your Twitter and Facebook accounts.
