The Fur-Bearers challenge cub killing in judicial review

bearcub header

UPDATE (January 5, 2018): The Fur-Bearers have filed for appeal of the court decision that sided with the Conservation Officer Service's authority to kill wildlife that isn't posing a threat. Our legal team is confident that our appeal has grounds, and we're expecting that this could be a game changer for wildlife in British Colubmia. Costs are expected to hit $15,000 for this appeal, so please make a donation below to help support our efforts.

We’re seeking a judicial review to determine if the Conservation Officer Service acted within their authority when a bear cub was killed last year – and the costs are adding up.

Legal fees, filing fees, and the resources required to mount this effort have cost us $8,100 as of July 31, and that number may rise to nearly $20,000. Please give a donation or begin a monthly gift (for as little as $5/month) so that we can continue this fight, and continue speaking for the animals.
