Celebrating 200 Years: Commemorating Holocaust Remembrance Day with the Ambassador John L. Loeb, Jr. Institute for Religious Freedom

In honor of Holocaust Remembrance Day, please join the Ambassador John L. Loeb, Jr. Institute for Religious Freedom at The George Washington University in discussion surrounding the values that guide America’s international role.  

 

U.S. foreign policy is inextricably linked to the idea of human rights. American diplomats are charged with pursuing our national interests. At the same time, they seek to realize ideals of liberty and equality that reflect the best of the American political tradition.

 

Explore these challenges by joining the Loeb Institute's Executive Director and Associate Professor of Political Science, Dr. Samuel Goldman, in a special conversation with Dr. Peter Berkowitz. As Director of Policy Planning at the U.S. Department of State, Executive Secretary of the Presidential Commission on Unalienable Rights, and a longtime fellow of the Hoover Institution, Dr. Berkowitz combines practical experience with academic expertise about the hope of a moral foreign policy.
