Event Description

The third installment of the Frank J. Fahrenkopf & Charles T. Manatt 2020 Election Series covers the first presidential debate between President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden from every angle. This unique panel, consisting of former members of Congress and University of Notre Dame students, analyzes the points and counterpoints made the previous night in Cleveland and looks ahead to the home stretch in the race for the White House. 

The event will be moderated by The Graduate School of Political Management (GSPM) Director, Dr. Lara Brown, and will feature the following panelists:

  • Ryan Costello - Former U.S. Representative (R-PA)
  • Tim Roemer - Former U.S. Ambassador to India | Former U.S. Representative (D-IN)
  • Lucie Kneip - University of Notre Dame Student | BridgeND Vice President

Established in 1999 by Frank Fahrenkopf and Charles Manatt, this event is designed to promote the spirit of collegiate political discourse at GW and is hosted by The Graduate School of Political Management (GSPM).
