Event Description

Are you interested in learning more about the vaping epidemic and strategies for addressing it? 

Hosted by GW’s Delta Omega chapter, the seminar will feature a panel of interdisciplinary experts, including a researcher, physician, and program designer, who will provide a 360-degree view of the status of vaping today. During the seminar, you will learn about current data and trends in vaping, as well as education and prevention efforts being implemented in the field. 

Speakers are: 

Julia Chen-Sankey, PhD Postdoctoral fellow at the Intramural Program of the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD)
Tanya Cothran-Ross, MD Pediatrician, Mid-Atlantic Permanente Group
Megan Jacobs, MPH ‘10 Managing Director of Product for the Innovations Center, Truth Initiative

The seminar will be followed by a networking reception, which will provide opportunities to mingle with leaders in the public health field.
