Meeting ID: 921 0830 9369
Passcode: mindful

Event Description

The practice of mindfulness is being aware in the present moment in a purposeful and nonjudgmental manner. There is much written about mindfulness, but often there is a lack of clarity about how it can make a difference in your daily professional and personal life, espcially in these trying times.
The Buff & Blue Bytes series highlights the unique talents of GW alumni and students through 30-minute informational and interactivevirtual sessions. In this session, Patricia McLaughlin, LAW JD '87, will discusses the practice and practical application of mindfulness. Participants will learn techniques to improve mental fitness and demonstrate that practicing these techniques for minutes in a day can improve your outlook, concentration, communication with others and overall well being.
