Sweat and Sip with GW Public Health Alumni

Virtual access information will be sent to registrants 48 hours before the event.

Event Description

Join fellow public health alumni for a virtual event of movement and networking. GWSPH alumna Christian Dorisca, MPH '16, will lead 30 minutes of cardio dance and strength training. Afterwards, grab a rejuvenating mocktail and speed network with fellow alums in virtual breakout rooms. A recipe for Christian's special edition mocktail will be shared prior to the event.

Christian Dorisca is a former massage therapist, turned public health communications professional and fitness and wellness enthusiast. Since receiving her Masters of Public Health from the Milken Institute School of Public Health in 2016, Christian has worked at USAID in various capacities. She is currently a Public Affairs Advisor in the Office of HIV/AIDS in the Agency's Bureau for Global Health. Christian enjoys using her love for all things health to assist others in finding a fitness (movement) routine they enjoy. She reviews fitness classes, hosts small-group fitness events, and leads dance cardio classes — a mix of dance and strength-training moves.
