Event Description

The pandemic has led to concerns over the long-term socio-economic, psychological, behavioral and cognitive impact of COVID-19 within communities hit hardest by the virus. Paul Wahlbeck, Dean of the Columbian College of Arts & Sciences, will moderate a panel of faculty experts to discuss the emerging trends and the challenges ahead.

Antwan Jones, Associate Professor of Sociology, Africana Studies, and Epidemiology
Elizabeth Vaquera, Executive Director of the Cisneros Hispanic Leadership Institute and Associate Professor of Sociology and Public Policy & Public Administration
Sarah Wagner, Associate Professor of Anthropology
