Virtual Cooking Demonstration (Online)
Online via WebEx at 7:30pm EDT/4:30pm PDT
All alumni are invited to join Chef Lauren Egdahl for a virtual cooking demonstration featuring delicious flavors of SoCal cuisine. Chef Egdahl will walk through the preparation of a three-course Baja-style meal including ceviche, tacos with homemade salsa, a unique avocado mousse and a refreshing agua fresca cocktail/mocktail.
The recipe and ingredients will be shared with registrants prior to the demonstration so those who wish can follow along. The cooking demonstration will begin promptly at 7:30pm EDT/4:30pm PDT and is open to all alumni. Chef Egdahl will provide a vetegarian alternative version to the dish.
Lauren Egdahl is a chef and nutritionist based in Denver, CO. She owns and operates her own private chef & catering business - agoodegg, and consults on various food projects around the country. As the daughter of two chefs, Lauren made a name for herself as the head chef of Comparti Catering in NYC. Lauren has her Masters in Nutrition and Integrative Health and enjoys cooking delicious and nourishing meals for others, while educating others on the healing power of food.
Lauren has been featured on NY food blogs such as Eventmates and Atelier Dore, and has worked as a food stylist at NBC and was the featured chef in the exclusive Spring Street Social Society dinner series in Manhattan. She is a proponent of all things wellness and is known for her balanced, innovative, and exciting dishes.
