Fashion on Film: Dior and I

Michelle Finamore

Join fashion historian Michelle Finamore for a conversation about Dior and I, the 2014 film that explores the storied world of the Christian Dior fashion house.

About the Film

Dior and I brings the viewer inside the storied world of the Christian Dior fashion house with a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of Raf Simons' first haute couture collection as its new artistic director. Melding the everyday, pressure-filled components of fashion with mysterious echoes from the iconic brand's past, the film is also a colorful homage to the seamstresses who make Simons' vision possible. (Frederic Tcheng, 2015, 89 minutes)
