About the Campaign
UPDATE: We've exceeded our goal of $75,000! Thank you to our generous supporters for honoring the heroic work that nurses do each day, especially in the midst of the current pandemic. Your support is critical in providing scholarships to future nursing students, when the need to prepare well-qualified and compassionate caregivers is at its highest!
"To me, receiving this scholarship was confirmation that I was doing the right thing at the right time for the right reasons: attending nursing school at GW and focusing my full energies on that and not on trying to earn a living simultaneously to offset the costs. I was so energized and encouraged by receiving this scholarship."
- Alison Hoffman, B.S.N.'20
This spring, as the world continues to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, GW School of Nursing graduated 150 B.S.N. prepared nurses. These skilled and compassionate healthcare professionals have joined the clinical and research frontlines vital to protecting the safety of our communities.
It has been 10 years since GW Nursing was chartered as the 10th school at the George Washington University. Our first decade has been marked by many successes, none more important than preparing the next generations of nurses and health care leaders.
To keep our families and neighborhoods healthy, we must continue to attract and support the most talented students, and scholarship funding makes that vital mission possible.
Please honor the heroic work that nurses do each day by making a gift to support GW Nursing scholarships. Your gift today will support a student entering our accelerated B.S.N. program this fall.
