Six years ago, the southern Ethiopia town of Shinshicho lacked a full-time doctor, and the region's only clinic was too run down to adequately serve the community.
Holt renovated and expanded the clinic in 2009. Now, more than 50,000 patients per year come to receive care, many carrying little children in their arms. Sometimes, though, patients need more advanced care than the clinic can provide.
Despite their desperate poverty, members of the community have collectively given $150,000 to build a hospital. With your help, Holt would like to match their donation and begin the push to finish what they started — giving the precious gift of hope to a new generation of children and families.
Please help today. Every dollar you give will save more lives.
Thank you for your generosity!
