Rescue Reading 11/25
|
Looking for a fun way to have your children practice their reading skills? Join us for HSHV's Rescue Reading program every Tuesday from 1-3pm! This two-hour program includes time reading to our adoptable animals, a group read-aloud and humane education lesson, and a dog meet-and-greet!
This is a drop-off event designed for ages 6-11. For children under 6, we invite you to visit us for Little Paws Storytime.
Registration: Pre-registration is required (see the link below). Space is limited to 8 children per session.
Fee: $10 per child
Books: While we have many books available, we would love to have your children bring several books to read during the session that are at their reading level.
Covid-19 Procedures: At this time, we will be limiting this program to no more than 8 children per session. Each child will be required to wear a facial covering for the duration of the program. Upon arrival, parents will be asked a series of questions related to symptoms of Covid-19 and exposure, and children will be asked to sanitize their hands and have their temperature taken by program staff.
We're sorry - due to social distancing requirements, we are unable to have parents attend this program with their children. If you would like to enjoy time with your child while reading to animals, we invite you to visit Tiny Lions Lounge and Adoption Center.
