Trooper goes home for the holidays!
On Wednesday, November 21, 2012, our Animal Cruelty Task Force responded to a call about Trooper, a 5-month old Pit Bull puppy who had been tied to the back of a truck and dragged down Highway 55 in St. Louis.
We immediately transported him to the Humane Society of Missouri for veterinary care. His injuries were severe, and required 24/7 care and monitoring.
Trooper's recovery was slow, and over the past year he endured seven surgeries, countless pain medications and bandage changes before he was healthy enough to go to his forever home.
The Humane Society of Missouri is committed to giving each animal that comes through our doors the very best care, but we can't do it without your help. Thank you for your continued support.
