This special groundwork course for children uses natural horsemanship training techniques for the ultimate goal of developing a calmer, more trusting, and more willing partner in your horse. Horses and children are taught in a relaxed, well-organized environment with small class sizes. Students will work in pairs with assigned Longmeadow horses, supervised at all times by qualified instructors.
This course is a prerequisite for the four-week Introductory Groundwork Course.

CLASS DATE: April 11, 18, 25, and May 2 • 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
PARENTS: One parent or guardian must attend the class with the child. There will be no course fee for the parent/guardian.
PLEASE BRING: A sack lunch and a drink, and your child's helmet. If you do not have a riding helmet, you may borrow one of ours.
PLEASE WEAR: Sturdy boots or hard-soled shoes, jeans and/or weather-appropriate clothing, and face mask.
