These are uncertain times, and changes in federal funding could impact critical hydrocephalus research. Sadly, there are credible risks to the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program (CDMRP). This means that our scientists will be competing with all other health conditions for a much smaller amount of money, which does not bode well for hydrocephalus research.

At the Hydrocephalus Association (HA), we are increasing our commitment to advocating for continued NIH and DoD funding while investing in innovative research through HA-supported grants. But we can’t do it alone—we need your support.
