Houston WALK to End Hydrocephalus
Saturday, November 4th

PRESENTED BY TEXAS CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL

Please welcome our 2023 Honorary Chair, Dr. Jamie Wright
Jamie Wright

Jamie Wright, MD, PhD, originally from Texas, is a neurology resident at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. She did a combined MD/PhD program at the University of Texas at Houston McGovern Medical School. She was inspired to pursue a career in both neurology and research by her own experiences growing up with a chronic neurological condition, congenital hydrocephalus. She has been a volunteer for the Hydrocephalus Association since 2012 when she started a support group in Houston for individuals and families affected by hydrocephalus and is now leading a community network in Seattle. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, crocheting, and hanging out with her cat, Abigail Bagel.
