Please join our team and WALK with us to End Hydrocephalus!  This event is very dear to our hearts as we are walking on behalf of Simon, who has congential hydrocephalus. Hydrocephalus is a condition that can only be treated by brain surgeries, and there is never a guarantee that the result of the surgery will last for ever. Because of our great medical team at Stony Brook, Simon had two Endoscopic Third Ventriculostomys, which will prevent him from needing a shunt, at least for the time being. This could change at any moment. Hydrocephalus is a life long condition that can require repeated and innumerous brain surgeries.  

We would LOVE for you to come and join the walk with us, Beaver Island State Park is gorgeous and we're so excited to participate in this, but if you can't be here in person, we'd love for you to become a Virtual Teammate and help us to keep kicking hydro's ass.
