Stop the Wolf Killing Frenzy in Wisconsin
Demand Emergency Protection!

(Valid street address is required - P.O. Boxes cannot be used*)

In Defense of AnimalsWisconsin's Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has handed its wolf management to the wolf haters – the trophy hunters and trappers, who have killed 92 wolves in six days, as of October 21. Open season on wolves allows trapping, gunning, arrowing, and baiting wolves, in addition to unleashing hound dogs on wolves and their pups - 24/7, 365 days a year- completely unregulated.

Wolf recovery biologists have warned that encounters of unleashed hound dogs and wolves who defend their territory and their pups, will lead to severe bloodshed, injuries, and mortality to adult wolves, yearlings, and pups. Not only wolves are currently dying, but so are hound dogs. Since August, at least ten hound dogs have died as a result of forced encounters with wolves. When a dog dies, the hunter is compensated with a nice fat check of $2,500 from Wisconsin’s DNR.

Wolf killing is out of control, dogs die too, and Wisconsin’s DNR does nothing!

Wisconsin’s already historically high poaching rate has even increased and voices of extreme wolf haters have been loudly declaring war on wolves in Wisconsin. The social media from a Wisconsin wildlife-hating page is flush with anti-wolf propaganda; from openly encouraging others to poison wolves and shoot females and shoot wolves in the gut. And again, the DNR remains silent and perhaps deliberately apathetic.

What you can do:

Wisconsin's Department of Natural Resources has shown they are not capable of managing gray wolves. Send the letter below to the director and regional offices of the US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) and request an emergency relisting of Wisconsin’s gray wolves under the federal Endangered Species Act (ESA).
