Sanderson Farms, one of the largest poultry producers in the United States, proudly promotes its use of antibiotics as harmless, yet it won't agree to a federal government study to measure the health risks. We're not willing to accept this, and we hope you won't either!
What is it trying so hard to hide?
Tell Sanderson Farms that if it wants to promote the use of antibiotics as harmless and safe, that it should be open to scientific scrutiny.
As advocates for both animals and humans who are too often silenced by the interests of company profits, we must always speak up and push for transparency.
Contact Sanderson Farms and urge honesty and accountability!
1) Call Sanderson Farms at (601) 649-4030 and say something to the extent of:
"Why did Sanderson Farms refuse a federal health and safety study from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health? It's time for Sanderson Farms to prove it is not endangering public health through its antibiotic use, by opening its doors to this important federal study."
2) Submit our letter to Sanderson Farms CEO, CFO and President, urging them to agree to a Health Hazard Evaluation of their Hammond, LA plant.
3) As an individual you can do something right now to help suffering chickens by no longer funding this cruel industry. Find it here, in a free and easy download.
