Stop Sick Serial Animal Abuser

Serial animal abuser Charoyd Henrence Bell has been repeatedly arrested for stealing, fighting, neglecting, and mishandling animals since 2016. He is now set to face a grand jury on his latest charge of stealing a dog and two horses. Take action now to stop this dangerous criminal from harming more animals!

In February, 2016, Bell posted disgusting photos on Facebook of himself and another male dangling pit bull puppies by their tails and ears. He was charged under Mississippi State Statute § 97-41-5 for carrying an animal in a cruel manner. This incident led to a a bust at Bell's house in Natchez, Mississippi.

Adams County Sheriff Travis Pattern found fourteen pit bulls and one hound. He told In Defense of Animals that the dogs his department saved were in very bad shape and could have died if it were not for the bust.

His team discovered two men by a bayou behind the house, one with a dog tied to a tree and the other holding a dog he was taunting to release and attack the tied dog.

Bell was charged with dog fighting under Mississippi State Statute § 97-41-19. Cases like this repeatedly highlight the close link between violence to animals and violence to people. Bell was arrested for aggravated Domestic Violence in April, 2013.

Bell's latest charge under Miss. Code. Ann. § 97-17-51, is a crime punishable by up to a mere $500, up to six months in jail, or both, or no less than one year in penitentiary nor more than two years.

Bell was charged with the theft of ten dogs, most of whom were reunited with their guardians. For the horse theft, Bell would be charged under Miss. Code Ann. § 97-17-61 with an absurdly low penalty of up to $1,000, and/or one year in the county jail.
