No matter what you are facing today, God is already aware of it and sovereign over it. May this truth bring you comfort as you lift your own needs to Him – as well as the requests below for The Fellowship, Israel, and shalom (peace) the world over.

  • Yesterday a stabbing and car-ramming attack happened near Jerusalem, injuring an Israel Defense Forces soldier. Pray for the soldier’s quick recovery and for God’s protection on His beloved people. “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you” (Deuteronomy 31:6).

  • Pray for the thousands of people who have had to flee their homes because of the wildfires in British Columbia. Please pray for a quick end to the fires and for God’s protection of all those fighting them. “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:10).

  • The Fellowship is in the middle of a summer initiative to help 2,300 Jews make aliyah (immigrate to Israel) from 15 different countries. Thank God that these Fellowship Freedom Flights are going smoothly so far, and pray that these olim (new immigrants) will transition well to their new home. “I will bring you from the nations and gather you from the countries where you have been scattered – with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm and with outpoured wrath” (Ezekiel 20:34).

  • Praise God for Yael Eckstein’s recent safe and successful trip to Morocco, where she helped distribute food boxes to needy communities. Pray for the shrinking Jewish community in Morocco and that The Fellowship will be able to offer them the assistance they need. “The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor” (Proverbs 22:9).

Rabbi Eckstein, Yael, and The Fellowship invite you on the journey of a lifetime to the Holy Land this December 4-11. Join us and experience the history and the people of Israel! Learn more
