The Fellowship Prayer Team unites Jews and Christians around the world to raise a chorus of prayer to God for the care and support of Israel's people. By appealing to God on behalf of His children, the Prayer Team will make a powerful, positive impact.

Prayer Points

January 09, 2018

The new year has just begun and we already have much to pray about. While the past year found many threats and dangers – violent attacks, anti-Semitism, natural disasters, and continued poverty – we have hope for the year ahead. While we may not know what is to come, we do know that God will guide our way.

  • Please pray for the family and loved ones of the people, including six young children, who perished in house fires in Ontario and Nova Scotia this past week. “The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18).

  • As winter continues to take hold around the world, pray that The Fellowship’s annual Operation Winter Relief campaign will save the lives of as many impoverished elderly and families as possible. “Give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the LORD your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to” (Deuteronomy 15:10).

  • As rocket fire continues to target southern Israel, and as enemy regimes threaten from the north, please pray for God’s hand of protection over Israel and its people. “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you” (Deuteronomy 31:6).

  • Pray that 2018 will be a strong year for The Fellowship so that we can help all those seeking assistance in Israel, the former Soviet Union, and around the globe. “The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor” (Proverbs 22:9).
