Stories from The Vietnam War

Stories_from_The_Vietnam_WarPBS stations across the country were inspired by Ken Burns & Lynn Novick’s film “The Vietnam War," and gathered powerful, personal and inspiring stories from veterans, anti-war activists, and refugees about their experiences related to The Vietnam War.

Hosted by Paula Kerger, this program showcases the astonishing depth of storytelling by PBS stations across the country large and small.

From Lubbock TX to Lincoln NE and Twin Cities to Philadelphia, PBS stations reached into their communities and unearthed stories about which Ken Burns said: “Every community had people in the Vietnam War. Every community had memories that weren't necessarily going to be covered by our film. There are more conversations to be had. And I am so honored to be part of this system because of the way they responded.”
