The KSU Child Development Center is a nationally recognized laboratory school whose mission is to educate and care for children, professionally prepare teachers, and generate research to inform practice. We welcome children of KSU students, staff, and faculty as well as children of the greater community. We offer an education based on relationships, with parents as full partners in their child's education. We engage in ongoing inquiry into our own practice and communicate our work to professional and local communities. We support the development of teachers who are reflective, passionate, and grounded in theory and the content of the curriculum. We are advocates for high quality services for all children and their families.
