Welcome! Jean's Angel's!
I’ll be participating in the 2020 Lahey Cancer Institute 5K Walk & Run on June 27, 2020!
My mum Pam bravely battled skin cancer this past year, losing the entire left side of her nose. Luckily she will make a full recovery.
My Aunt Bonnie is in remission for breast cancer. She is Her 2 positive making her treatment very complicated. Her breast cancer was very aggressive and I'm grateful she had the best doctors and treatment available.
Cancer has no boundaries. It doesn't discriminate. Why I participate in this walk every year with my Aunt Judy, is because of the outstanding care her late mum received by the staff in the Cancer department. They treated the whole family. It means alot. Jean was an angel in many ways long before her passing. Now we march proudly into the light raising money and awareness of her warriors who fought bravely beside her at the hospital. She wasn't just another face, she was family. Walking for her memory is the least i can do for the least selfless woman I've had the pleasure of knowing. Her daughter, and caretaker, my Aunt Judy, I could never let her do this without family and friends.
Thank you for your donation. No amount is too big or small. Just follow your heart and when in doubt ask yourself, what would Jean do? Proud to be Jean's Angel's 2020!
With your help, this event will raise $550,000 to support cancer services at the Lahey Cancer Institute, which includes Lahey Hospital & Medical Center; Lahey Medical Center, Peabody; Winchester Hospital; Beverly Hospital and Addison Gilbert Hospital. Proceeds from this event have a tremendous effect on patient care, helping purchase new equipment for treatment, offering cancer support groups and providing comforting spaces for patients and their families.
Will you help me reach my personal goal by joining my team or making a donation today? Registering and donating through this website is simple, fast and secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Thank you for your support!
