October 26, 2023, is Lights On Afterschool 2023! Lights On Afterschool (LOA) is a nationwide celebration of afterschool programs and the positive impact they have on the communities they serve. This year, we are celebrating 25 years of 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC). Lights On Afterschool is an annual event that celebrates the importance of afterschool programs and the role they play in the lives of young people, their families, and diverse communities. LOA is also about showing appreciation for the selfless program providers who ensure youth are provided with enriching and fulfilling experiences.
