Mark #5 off your bucket list and join us for the
3rd Annual Lone Star Roundup Cattle Drive
September 29 - October 2, 2011
The Running R Ranch
in Bandera, Texas
(the self-proclaimed cowboy capital of Texas!)
Raise money to help people with MS and have an adventure of a lifetime.
Just imagine it: starry skies, roaring campfires, longhorn cows, rolling Texas hills...and not a cell phone in sight! With the MSAA Lone Star Roundup, you can embrace that “cowboy spirit.” It’s just like a benefit walk or a run - only on horseback! And with cows. And biscuits and gravy.
All levels of riding experience are welcome.
Never been on a horse? We’ll teach you everything you need to know to get on and stay on! An expert rider? We’ll turn you loose in the Texas back country for some challenging riding and herding.
Four days and three nights of fun and adventure, including:
Riding and moving a herd across 5500 acres of Texas hill country
Spending two nights in rustic cabins at the ranch, and one night under the stars out on the trail
Delicious and hearty meals cooked by the best chuckwagon cook this side of the Rio Grande
Country music and dancing, a swim or two - you’ll feel right at home
- Texas Hold 'Em poker tournament, for those that wish to try their hand in a friendly game
...all while helping people who live with MS.
Where: Bandera, TX (just west of San Antonio)
When: September 29 - October 2, 2011
