Women of Action Luncheon & Fashion Show
The Women of Action Leadership Committee is made up of some of the most prominent and influential women leaders in the greater New Jersey area, making a positive impact on the local MS community. With the support of loyal sponsors and supporters, the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America hosts the Women of Action Leadership Luncheon and Fashion Show, bringing together more than 300 clients, care partners, healthcare professionals and friends of the association to be inspired and take part in this unique fundraising event.
MSAA is a national, non-profit organization dedicated to improving lives today with ongoing support and direct services to individuals with MS, their families, and their care partners. MSAA’s free services help improve lives. Programs include a Helpline with trained specialists; award-winning educational videos and publications, including MSAA’s magazine, The Motivator; safety and mobility equipment distribution; cooling accessories for heat-sensitive individuals; educational programs held across the country; MRI funding; and Lending Library among other services.
While MSAA continues to be the leading resource for the entire MS community, improving lives today through vital services and support, there is more work to be done.
Together, we can make a significant impact in the lives of those living with MS. A primary goal of the luncheon is to reach out to active business professionals and community leaders to encourage them to make MSAA one of the charities they support on an on-going basis.
While the event was founded by women who want to come together to celebrate women, we also invite and encourage men to attend and participate. Although two thirds of people living with MS are women and women are often care partners, we also recognize the importance of male care partners and supporters to the women in their lives. The luncheon creates an opportunity to empower each other to create a better future for all those living with MS. The Multiple Sclerosis Association of America's Women of Action Luncheon brings together industry leaders, corporate partners, clients, healthcare providers, and families from across the state.
