Transportation ventilators are designed to take the place of manual ventilation during emergency transport situations, like taking patients who are on life support for diagnostic testing such as CT or MRI. They help to minimize the risk of lung injury to the patient while monitoring and maintaining airway pressures and oxygeon concentration.
We need your help to buy new transportation ventilators for the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit. Each one costs $61,500 and is vitally important for the safe transport of some of our sickest, patients.
Your donation of $200 will help fund this urgently needed equipment.
