Joe's Tremendous Bikers is proud to participate in Cycle for Survival 2019 events in honor of our dad, Joe, to raise funds in support of rare cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Together with our family and friends in Paramus and Los Angeles, we have declared our commitment fighting back and will join more than 36,000 indoor cyclists at rides across the country in early 2019 to show our support for rare cancer patients, caregivers, survivors, and loved ones lost too soon. We are riding to show support for Joe: our dad, friend and co-worker. Joe was the most kind-hearted person imaginable, and we miss him every day.
Our dad was lucky to have had amazing doctors over the course of his long-term illness and in his final year at Memorial Sloan Kettering. Dr. Jonathan Rosenberg and the nurses at the Sidney Kimmel Center for Prostate and Urologic Cancers worked tirelessly to find an effective treatment for our dad. We are forever grateful for their dedication to their work and kindness to our family.
Doctors and researchers, like Dr. Rosenberg, are helping fight the terrible disease, but need funding to further their research. Our team has a goal of raising $25,000 to directly fund Dr. Rosenberg's efforts in his fight to find a treatment and a cure for the rare cancer that took our dad's life. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to help us surpass this goal and make a real impact for those who have few, if any, treatment options.
Whether you’re riding alongside us or making a gift, we thank you for your support!
