Amaliya Malo-Wellman
Welcome to my fundraising page! I’m participating in my 6th Cycle for Survival ride to raise money for rare cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK). I'm honored to co-captain the Bain Capital Community Partnership team for the second year in a row. As many of you know, I lost my father to pancreatic cancer in 2008. Although rare cancer research has come along way since then, it continues to be underfunded. Cycle for survival helps fill the gap by providing much-needed support to MSK doctors and scientists in pursuit of bold ideas.
The ride is something I hold very close to my heart. I am blessed to ride in honor of my dad, and in support of every person who is currently undergoing treatment, who has been touched by cancer, or could be in the future.
Please consider making a donation for my ride this year. Any and all support whether it's monetary, cheering from the sideline or virtually is greatly appreciated!
Thank you for your support, donations and love always!
50% of People With Cancer Have a Rare Cancer
About half of all people with cancer have a rare form of the disease. Rare cancers include many types you’ve likely heard of, such as leukemia and lymphoma; thyroid, ovarian, brain, and pancreatic cancers; and all pediatric cancers.
100% of Your Donation Supports Research
Every dollar you give will go directly into MSK labs, where researchers have expertise in more than 400 types of cancer. Funding from Cycle for Survival has led to the FDA approval of new drugs, lifesaving clinical trials, and state-of-the-art DNA sequencers.
Real Impact, Real Fast
Your donation will be allocated within six months after fundraising ends. Not only does Cycle for Survival fund critical research but it also makes sure that donated dollars get into the hands of MSK experts as quickly as possible.
