Donate to TeamTogether, We Will Beat Rare Cancers
Welcome to Team BAND OF PARENTS MIAMI fundraising page! We’re raising money for rare cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) with Cycle for Survival, MSK’s official rare cancer fundraiser. Will you donate and help us make a difference?
Last year Team BOP raised almost $50,000 between our three teams and just over $175,000 with our partnered teams! This year we hope to DOUBLE that!
Our teams have committed to directly donating our funds to Neuroblastoma research conducted at MSKCC. Without events like Cycle for Survival, change cannot happen.
Here are two ways to get involved:
1. Make a tax-deductible gift today. Every dollar you give will go directly into MSK labs, where researchers have expertise in more than 400 types of cancer. Funding from Cycle for Survival has led to the FDA approval of new drugs, lifesaving clinical trials, and state-of-the-art DNA sequencers.
2. Join our team. Ride a stationary bike and fundraise with us to help power new breakthroughs in rare cancer treatment. No cycling experience is necessary! Connect to our own network of people and set your own goal to contribute to our overall team goal!
50% of People With Cancer Have a Rare Cancer
About half of all people with cancer have a rare form of the disease. Rare cancers include many types you’ve likely heard of, such as leukemia and lymphoma; thyroid, ovarian, brain, and pancreatic cancers; and all pediatric cancers.
Real Impact, Real Fast
Your donation will be allocated within six months after fundraising ends. Not only does Cycle for Survival fund critical research but it also makes sure that donated dollars get into the hands of MSK experts as quickly as possible.
Thank you for your generosity!
