Kenneth Cooper
Yes it does, cancer really sucks.
Two years ago, I decided to do something about that. I’m not a doctor, a nurse or a brilliant scientist. I’m just a regular guy who’s seen too many of my friends and close loved ones battle this horrible disease. Running and raising money is the one way I know to fight back and give cancer the big F-U!
So, let’s dig deep into our pockets and give generously. Every dollar we raise will go towards research and will literally save lives.
And when I run, I’ll think about who I’m running for:
I’m running for the over 1000 Bloomberg employees and family members currently battling cancer.
I’m running for the 4 employees we lost since the last marathon.
I’m running for all the doctors and nurses. They are angels on earth.
I’m running for friends, for family and for people I’ve never met.
I’m running so that some day I won’t have to run any more.
Until that day comes, I’ll keep running…
