When I first set out to run a marathon, it was a personal challenge - a bucket-list goal that I wanted to accomplish for myself. But as I began this journey, I realized that running 26.2 miles could mean so much more.
That's why, for the TCS New York City Marathon, I've joined Fred's Team, the official running program of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK). Running as a part of the Bloomberg 1000 team has given my training a true sense of purpose. It's no longer just about crossing the finish line. It's about making a real difference in the fight against cancer, a disease that has impacted the lives of so many of us.
Now, each mile I run represents more than my own strength and endurance. I'm running with the goal of raising as much as possible to support the groundbreaking research happening at MSK, helping patients and their families who are facing cancer head-on. The impact we have together is far greater than any personal achievement I could imagine.
Your support - no matter the amount - will fuel my training and fund essential cancer research. Together, we can make every step count in the fight against cancer.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me!
