GIVING MEANING TO OUR MILES
We’re taking on the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon with Fred’s Team, the official running program of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK). Our goal is to raise as much as we can to support groundbreaking cancer research at MSK, and your donation will give us a boost as we train for our race.
100% OF YOUR DONATION SUPPORTS RESEARCH
Named in honor of New York City Marathon co-founder and MSK patient Fred Lebow, Fred’s Team brings together passionate runners and supporters to make progress against cancer. Since 1995, Fred’s Team participants have raised over $110 million. 100% of funds raised go directly into MSK labs, where doctors and scientists have expertise in more than 400 types of cancer and work every day to find new cures.
MARK KOUREY
Mark was treated at MSK for prostate cancer for 13 years and passed away last year. He discovered Fred's Team in 2018 and ran the NYC marathon with them 3 times. He loved MSK for the care and respect they showed him. For the extra time it gave him to live life and share his gifts with so many others. For this experience which has helped raise millions for research at MSK, saved countless lives, and made others more comfortable. For the runners who have joined our team and the fitness they acquired that may prolong their lives and be an example for others. One of our runners last year became an oncology nurse because of the experience. The movement is growing and we are getting closer to a cure. Won't you join us?
DONATE TODAY!
When you make a gift to Fred’s Team, you help MSK researchers develop new treatment options for the people who need them most. Together, we can make a big difference.
Thank you!
