I’m incredibly proud to be running the 2024 BMW Berlin Marathon with Fred’s Team, in support of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK).

• My goal: I am aiming to raise $26,200 for MSK - $1,000 for each of the 26.2 miles I'll be running in Berlin on September 28.  It's a very ambitious goal, but then again, so is running 26.2 miles.

• "Wait, am I just paying to send you to Berlin?"  No!  I have long since met and surpassed my fundraising minimum.  This is 100% for the benefit of MSK, to fund the critical cutting edge research that is looking for new cures and treatments day in and day out, and 100% of your donation goes directly to fund cancer research.

• My Why:   Like too many of us, I have seen loved ones battle cancer.  Just in the past year, I have multiple close friends and family members who have battled this awful disease, and I'm humbled and inspired by their courage.  I've seen what they've gone through, both physically and emotionally, and the impact it's had on their spouses, children, parents, siblings, and other loved ones, and I want to do something about it.  Will you help?

• No donation is too small (or too big).  Please consider a flat donation of any amount, or some amount for each of the 26.2 miles I'll be running.  

• Disclaimer: Although I very much hope to exceed my fundraising goal, please note that additional miles will not be run in respect of any amounts raised above 26.2 thousand.
