Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center leads critical cancer research and new discoveries that revolutionize how cancer is diagnosed and treated.
Donations to this page will directly support the work of Mark G. Kris, MD at MSK. Dr. Kris is a medical oncologist who specializes in the care of people with cancers arising in the lungs through targeted treatments and immunotherapy.
In his research, he aims to discover better treatments for individuals with lung cancers by studying the genetic characteristics of their tumors. His research team is working to find new genetic targets in cancer cells, and to test anticancer medicines that specifically attack the lung cancers driven by these molecular changes. Dr. Kris partners with surgeons and radiation specialists to find the best ways to use surgery, radiotherapy, and drugs together to increase the chance of cure.
Together Dr. Kris and his team strive to fight cancer and to minimize the physical symptoms of cancer so everyone under their care can spend their lives doing what matters most to them.
