In Memory of William Sherry, "Team Bill"

We created this page to honor Bill's memory and raise funds for sarcoma research at Memorial Sloan Kettering. We hope you will consider joining us and make a donation in memory of Bill.
When he became a patient at Sloan, Bill rallied his friends to “Team Bill,” his personal support group and network of friends. You were automatically on the team after a friendly fist bump from Bill or by lending a helping hand from afar.
Bill remained relentlessly upbeat and positive throughout the numerous treatments and procedures and never lost hope. He knew many important breakthroughs in cancer research and treatment had been brought to light at Sloan, and none of that progress would have been possible without support from people donating to fund this research.
The care Bill received at Sloan was exemplary, professional and compassionate. The dedicated team of physicians, nurses, techs and staff became Bill and Gail’s second family and Sloan became a home away from home. We would also like to honor them.
We hope you’ll consider joining Team Bill and make a donation to further research on sarcomas, the type of cancer Bill had. We know Bill would be happy you are joining the team and would likely share a corny joke with you.
THANK YOU for your donation in support of Team Bill and sarcoma research.
Sincerely,
Gail Sherry and the Bill Sherry Family
