Danielle's Dreams Art Program
Danielle Leventhal (1994-2021) was a beautiful ray of sunshine and a gifted artist. During the last four years of her life, while she was battling a rare and aggressive sarcoma, continuing to express herself through art became even more important. She created many hauntingly beautiful paintings during her treatment, some from her hospital bed. The encouragement and art supplies provided to her by AYA at MSK (Adolescents and Young Adults at Memorial Sloan Kettering) allowed her to take a break from medical procedures and continue doing what she loved most. She often talked about her dream that art would be accessible to every young adult going through cancer treatment, and she left a gift to AYA at MSK to begin to make that happen. Your gift will provide professional art instruction (online and in-person) and high quality art supplies to young adults being treated at Memorial Sloan Kettering. Thank you for supporting Danielle's Dreams!
