GIVING MEANING TO MY MILES
I am running the NYC Marathon on November 3rd in honor of my childhood friend’s mother, Shân Brock, who passed away after a long fight against colon cancer last year. I am running with Bryony Brock’s other childhood friend, Maggie Sweeney, and her wonderful husband, Chris Cresswell.
The only way I am getting through this very unenjoyable training (at altitude, I may add) is remembering that I’m raising money for a great cause and running in honor of an unbelievably warm & loving mother, wife, and friend who had to leave us too early.
100% of donations go to MSK cancer research to develop new treatment options for the people who need them most.
