One year ago in September 2023, we lost our beautiful daughter, Gigi, to a rare form of cancer - alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma. Gigi was special. She was bright and kind, loving and silly. She loved to sing and to dance. She loved to rock climb and to play Barbies. We miss her every single day.
Gigi fought admirably against her cancer, enduring chemotherapy, radiation and multiple surgical procedures. Our great tragedy is that despite her bravery, grit and unending spirit of joy, we were not able to save her.
Cycle for survival is a unique event that focuses specifically on rare cancers. Those cancers that otherwise would not get the funding required to research innovative treatments, and hopefully one day, cures. We will do anything within our power to prevent the loss of another precious child to rhabdomyosarcoma. We hope that you, our community, will join us as we ride in honor of all the children who lost their battles with pediatric cancer, and in the hope that our efforts will make a difference to the lives of many other children and their families
Join our team. Ride a stationary bike and fundraise with us to help power new breakthroughs in rare cancer treatment. No cycling experience is necessary!
50% of People With Cancer Have a Rare Cancer
About half of all people with cancer have a rare form of the disease. Rare cancers include many types you’ve likely heard of, such as leukemia and lymphoma; thyroid, ovarian, brain, and pancreatic cancers; and all pediatric cancers.
Real Impact, Real Fast
Your donation will be allocated within six months after fundraising ends. Not only does Cycle for Survival fund critical research but it also makes sure that donated dollars get into the hands of MSK experts as quickly as possible.
