Gary Halperin
Welcome to my fundraising page! My mother, Sunny, passed away in 2016 from pancreatic cancer. For those of you who had the privilege to meet Sunny, you know she was an incredible person. A great mother, spouse, grandmother, teacher, friend, and businesswoman.
Sunny was diagnosed in August of 2014 and from the moment she was diagnosed she researched and researched (and researched some more), believing should could fight this horrible disease. As is usually the case with a diagnosis of a rare cancer, her battle was ultimately lost. Her life cut short. Her joys and passions gone.
I began riding with CFS in 2018, with the goal to keep my mother's memory alive. I will continue to ride in memory of Sunny and for all others who lost their battle or who are battling.
Please donate today to ensure that progress can continue. Every dollar raised continues to change — and save — lives.
Every dollar you give goes directly to groundbreaking studies and clinical trials at MSK. As a world leader in cancer research, care, and education, MSK makes discoveries that have a far-reaching impact and revolutionize how cancer is diagnosed and treated worldwide. Cycle for Survival not only provides much-needed resources but also makes sure that fundraising dollars get into the labs of MSK doctors and scientists fast. Within six months after fundraising ends, your donation will be helping researchers uncover insights about cancer that can lead to new and better treatments.
Thank you!
